Hold the sling, pad side up. Make sure it isn't twisted.
 
Thread the strap through both rings 
 

and back through the second ring

Pull the sling to check it is correctly attached. 
 
 
Decide which shoulder the pad will rest on. Put the opposite hand through the circle of material.
   
Lift high over your head to avoid twisting.

The rings should be just ahead of the crest of your shoulder.

Make a hammock suitable for the desired position, e.g. a wide flat hammock for the Lullaby position.

A forty-five degree hammock for the Snuggler position. Note: inner material pulled up on chest.

Material pulled to maximum width in preparation for the Cosy Frog position.
