The Happy Baby Sling

Age / weight range Birth to 2½ years, about 4lb 6oz to 33lb (2 - 15 kg)
Made of machine-washable, 100 per cent cotton, in plain, patterned or tie-dye fabrics, or supply your own choice of fabric (it must be dress-weight 100 per cent cotton). The Happy Baby Company will make and return the sling within two working days. Comes in standard, petite and large parent sizes.
How it's worn Sling is worn over one shoulder like a sash. Has up to six positions for baby, including lying down, sitting, facing outwards or inwards, on hip or back. Adjusted using rings at shoulder.

Worth considering because it's a very lightweight and simple design which can be personalised with your own fabric. Baby was very secure in the 'lullaby' (cradle-like) position but design suits a wide age range. Easy to use. Adjustable while on the move. Good for breastfeeding.
Possible drawbacks Tester suggested warmer materials could be used to make slings for winter. She found it took time to master the different positions.
